The food served to our children is all home-baked in our kitchen by our wonderful catering team. We partner with the brilliant Holroyd Howe, who take their responsibility towards our children’s nutrition seriously.
We cater for all of our children’s diets, including their allergies, intolerances and cultural choices, and ask that parents don’t send any food in to school with their child in order for us to manage this.
We operate a 3-week rotational menu to keep things fresh and interesting. The first week of term starts at week 1, and then we move through cyclically. The current menu is shared below. In addition to these menus, there are always choices of jacket potatoes and salads, with plenty of vegetarian options available.
It is essential that the School is made fully aware of every pupil's dietary requirements. Please do so via the Admin Centre on Firefly, or via the Admissions procedure for new joiners.
Pupils should not bring any refreshments from home, other than a named water bottle.
In the Pre-Prep lunch is served at the table by a member of staff who eats with the children and we encourage them to try new food. From Year 2 children collect their meal from a servery, carefully supervised by teaching Staff, who sit with the children at the lunch tables.
Lunch is served in the Calvi Hall for Nursery to Year 1, and in the Dining Hall for Years 2 - 8. Boarders, and those having breakfast and/or supper at school, also have these meals in the dining hall, in the company of the Boarding Staff (with the exception of Pre-Prep breakfasts which are served in Calvi Hall).
Snacks are provided mid-morning, and mid afternoon for pupils staying for clubs or study period.
